What is Sylpheed 8? The latest version is 3.8 beta:

Their mission is to kill e-mail and all good traditional
clients. I am not with them.

Look into IMAP synchronisers:

Yet it may, try:

   https://account.mail.ru/signup
   https://yandex.com/support/mail/reg.html
   https://mail.rambler.ru/

or any of the independent shell services, which are so evil
as the large providers:

   https://freeshell.de/
   http://www.tilde.club/
   https://sdf.org/
   https://blinkenshell.org

Unlike the larger players, these do not require your phone
number. And remember: e-mail is for exchangeing letter, not
for storing gigabytes of attachments!
