In effect that's what I did, as I've been doing with patches for years
unless instructed otherwise. I had been running 3.5rc, so upon computer
startup read my email in 3.5rc, closed it and copied over the patch.
Did it twice with the same results, as reported. Win 8.1 Pro x64
