[sylpheed:32894] How to merge two sylpheed mail archives

I am moving from one linux box to another and I have part of my mail archive on one box and part on the other. How can I merge the two archives? I know that it is possible to move mail from one folder to another by manually copying the message files, but I'm afraid that messages with identical file names may conflict or be deleted in the process.
