[sylpheed:31227] SSL Self-Signed Certificate Dialogs Cannot be Disabled

I'm getting the following certificate dialogs every time I try to send
mail and the first time that I try to get mail.

This is because the IMAP server cert is self-signed (I am the only one
using the server and I don't want to pay for a real cert).

Anyway, I would like to know if there is some way to disable these
dialogs?

Or, what would be ideal is a checkbox that causes the warnings to be
ignored in the future. Has this been discussed? Is there somewhere I
should file a bug report?

Thanks,
Mike

PS: I'm also a C developer. I know very little about GTK programming
but if someone can point me to roughly the right location in the code
I might be able to help diagnose what needs to happen.
