It should not be required, because the Trash folder will be
automatically used when deleting messages in the IMAP4 account.

It can be done by hand with 'Type' settings in the folder property
(in right-click menu of folders). You can choose arbitrary folders as
special folders.

Advanced - Folder settings are basically not required unless you want
to put messages across mailboxes (toplevel folders).

I agree that the current specification is not convenient, and the
special folders (Sent, Drafts, Queue) should be created automatically.
