[sylpheed:37327] Unicode not treated correctly - links do not work

Dear Sylpheed users and developers,
I now tracked down my problem for not being able to open specific links from a
health service provider in sylpheed. It is the following unicode symbol for
the equal sign:
Unicode Hex Character Code = =
Symbol Name: Equals Sign
Html Entity:
Hex Code: =
Decimal Code: =
Unicode Group: Basic Latin
Within a link it is no correctly parsed and instead of an equal sign it is
just left out. Example: (cut out from the real one)
https://somedomain.app/?....oiZGUifQ&v=3&fetchLast=false&ref=email
When clicking on the link to pass it to the browser or even when selecting and
and manually pasting it as a link to the browser, the = is gone and the
ampersand is correcly mapped.
When I manually replace it with = and the & with &, the link works.
I this something that can be fixed easily or is it an incorrect use of the
encoding within links?
Thx
Jocki
