[sylpheed:37166] Re: eMail causes crash of sylpheed

Hallo Jocki,

I'm running the same system (Debian 11) and version of sylpheed.

I wanted to try to reproduce the bug/behaviour, but I don't know how to
"import" the mail into sylpheed. I use imap and copying the mail to the
imapcache directory doesn't make it show up in sylpheed. Also setting the
"Offline arbeiten" option doesn't make it show up.

Then I opened it from Thunar (XFCE) right click and "open in sylpheed".

Sylpheed opens up and displays the mail in a separate window. No Problems.

Feel free to forward the "bad email" directly to my address and I will
report how sylpheed deals with it. I know this approach will most likely
generate extra headers, but it might be worth a try.

Maybe someone else could give me a hint as how to "import" a single email
file into a sylpheed imap folder.

Grüße,
Christoph
