Glad to read that I'm not the only one. I'm also using an IMAP mailbox.
While this is not a big problem, I'm curious why this happens.

The uptime for my laptop is usually several days, including times when
suspended to RAM. During that time, Sylpheed is constantly running, and
I experience this issue definitely not only when I start Sylpheed.

Interesting. I didn't know that one can apply the filters afterwards.
By the way I was also searching the 'Extras' menu, as I run Sylpheed in
english ;)


I'll try running Sylpheed in debug mode ('sylpheed --debug' from CLI)
and see if there's anything useful.
