Does Sylpheed have a spell check feature? Is it a question of the feature
not being part of Sylpheed at all, or that it does not function properly?

Are features sometimes left out because of licensing reasons or some other
legal reason?

I don't know why you say that here but didn't respond to those on the Claws
list that tried to help. But, whatever, we're way off-topic for the sylpheed
list.
