[sylpheed:33349] [Dual Boot Win XP / Ubuntu 9.10] - Install Sylpheed 2.6.0

Hi all,

I'm a long time Sypheed user under Windows XP, preparing to switch to Ubuntu 9.10. Ideally, I'm looking forward to being able to check my emails from either Windows (that I will still use for a while, working on sound with the softwares I'm used to) or Ubuntu, depending on which OS I'm logged in.

I haven't installed Ubuntu yet, and I have a lot of email archives under XP (loads of mboxes), that Sylpheed stores in C:\Documents and Settings\flytox\Application Data\Sylpheed\Mailboxes\Home\.

Could anyone point me to a way to rationalize installation under XP and prepare for Sylpheed installation under Ubuntu, so that ultimately I both versions can access the same repositories and I avoid duplications of email storage, if possible at all ?
