[sylpheed:32582] sylpheed crashes when sending mail

since ?? days sylpheed 2.5.0 crashes under debian testing.  I guess this is
a bug in debian rather than a bug in sylpheed, but wanted to post it here
anyway. This is the output when running sylpheed in gdb. Hope that helps
(i am not a programmer, so i have no clue what this all means):

I installed libglib2.0-0-dbg 2.16.4-2 before running gdb.
