actually I asked for that many times, but I understood that it was not a popular feature,

I also started to code a patch myself, but I didn't made it yet,
the patch I started  it's actually a tool to strip all attachments from the messages and copy them in a folder, so that in the actual message you are left with a link to the file,
that's basically what Eudora did,

so the tool does this:
scans the InBox folder, parses each file, splits it, saves the "cleaned" message and
the attachments as separate files...

and I'm still at parsing, <grin>
