[sylpheed:31372] sending pdf files in version 2.4.2

Community,

I just today sent pdf files for the 1st time ever with my upgraded
sylpheed. I can send any file without problems but when I send pdf
files (to any address) It stops sending roughly half way and sits
there. It does not time out.

The log shows:

[12:19:52] SMTP< 354 Enter message, ending with "." on a line by itself

????

Any help?
