[sylpheed:31182] Questions from a new user

I've resurrected my interest in sylpheed, the freeware version. (I think 
there's also a paid version, but I'm not sure.)

Two questions, if I may:

1.  Is Sylpheed truly portable?  I use WinXP, SP2 on a Dell system.

2.  Is there any way to control the behavior of the tab key?  I get a 
lot of mail, and I need to be able to tab between the message list and 
the message body.  Pressing <tab> sends the cursor all over the screen.  
Is there a way to change this?
