The alpha version of Sylpheed full-text search application
Sylph-Searcher (tentative name) has been made public (Win32 binary is
also available).

Please refer to README included in the tarball for installation etc.

The following softwares are required:

    GLib 2.4.0 or later (http://www.gtk.org/)
    GTK+ 2.4.0 or later (http://www.gtk.org/)
    LibSylph 1.0.0 or later (http://sylpheed.sraoss.jp/)
    MeCab 0.93 or later + mecab-ipadic (http://mecab.sourceforge.net/)
    PostgreSQL 8.2 or later + tsearch2 (http://www.postgresql.org/)

This is still the initial state of the development and lacks many
features, but it's usable for body text search. At the test
environment, it can search 12000+ messages in no time.

It can also import MH folders which are not managed by Sylpheed.

Usage: import messages by syldbimport command, and use sylph-searcher
to do search.
