The answer to your questions is as follows:
1. Yes.
2. Yes, it does, thanks! I was not aware of this feature. But i wonder if this can be automated. Specifically, I was thinking that when I go into sylpheed and it processes incoming e-mails in all the different folders, could it not Filter junk mails into the Junk folder at the same time. This would certainly save a lot of unneeded clicks and keystrokes. Of course, this feature may already exist in sylpheed, but I do not know. If it does not, I wonder if it is something that is easy enough to incorporate.
