Hi,

for general knowledge, I found today that this timeout is also used as
a sending timeout.

That implies that if you send a large mail (it depends) and the SMTP
of a mail service (any) has a very low download rate (download from
us sending) so the send takes too much, Sylpheed timesout and
prevents keeping the mail on the sent folder among other secondary
possible issues.

It happend, once, long ago, but I didn't know it could be caused by
the I/O timeout settings.

I consider this a bug.
