Hi,

The log, at least on Windows, don't tell the whole thing.

The display error on Sylpheed comes after switch between folders, so
I guess is or in the Sylpheed cache (I don't store downloaded mails,
but as a side effect, trying to download them fails, as it couldn't
read it), or whatever that is wrongly appended to the IMAP folder
local cache, or in the talk with the server (there is what I think it
matches with your description).

Whatever happens on the FETCH command. After or while executing.

But, then, it can display the mails on the folder if you switch
offline. Then, using that offline cache is when downloading fails too
(switching back online, of course).

As so, I posted the logs of the dialog between Sylpheed and the
server (but for whatever reason didn't reach the list in a post a few
monthgs ago), hidden on Sylpheed log file when clicking on a folder
to show the mails (when doing so it doesn't display the dialog
server-client on the log), captured with Wireshark.

As this topic is bumped, I post a link for download, just in case
someone wants to have a look. After all, there isn't much private
information in there, just local IPs and Junk folders FETCH command.
Maybe MAC addresses, but all are local.

It just shows the dialog with a server without problems, and another
with Yahoo/AOL, when then it fails to display the folder mails.

The "other" and "yahoo" files are plain-text. The 2 other are the
Wireshark logs, so the raw TCP frames, obvious which ones by their
filenames ;).
