I use POP, so my logs look different.

The first line quoted above says to fetch everything (not knowing what
is there and what has been fetched before).

Having determined what emails are there and what have been previously
fetched, the fourth line says to fetch emails number 12966 to 39607
(that is 26642 emails).

I prefer POP and keeping my emails on my own computer. I have saved
emails consisting of 102601 files, in 1287 directories.
