[sylpheed:36495] Sylpheed do not show all the mails

Hi
First time using this email client
(some time ago I've used Thunderbird and Kmail)

Sylpheed retrived all the mails and erased them from the server
It informs the right number (15) but shows only 4
Where are the mails? How to see them? Are they lost?
