Hiro,

I've run into the same problem again with this update, this time with
Win 10 instead of 8.1: neither the Win32 patch nor zip file works.
After unpacking and copying over the files and opening Sylpheed, the
program hangs on the first attempt to check mail (NNTP in my case).
Then when I leave the program and come back, the program screen has gone
totally black. Just like all the other 3.5 Win32 builds. I'm not happy
about running the setup version because it uninstalls first. That means
more work resetting it up. 

Can we find what's causing the problem with the patch and zip versions?
I've been using Sylpheed with Windows since 2005, and it's only with
the 3.5 versions (RC's and official releases) that I've ever had any
problem. Thanks,
