[sylpheed:36407] Time out leads to crash

Hallo,

I have used sylpheed for a long time and wil not use any other client.

I have an issue though that has existed as long as I have used it. I found the same issue on win 7, Ubuntu 11, 12, 14 and on Linux mint 16 +17, and now on Ubuntu-MATE.

If the internet is bad (and where I am it is always bad) and the connection sits too long...it does not always time out but instead freezes. All you can do is force close the programme and open again. This is inconvenient because I have to
a. rebuild my folder trees for all my email accounts'
b. I have to re-enter all my passwords again....and each password is 20+ characters and quite random so it is no fun doing that (I wil not save the passwords in sylpheed)
