Actually, MH mailbox can be removed by hand-editing folderlist.xml.

But, in my opinion, it is not recommended because you cannot handle
mails at all if the IMAP server is unaccessible.
Most e-mail clients (Thunderbird, Outlook, ...) also have a local folder.
