[sylpheed:36140] libnotify - Notifications

Hi,
I have been an avid user of Sylpheed for years.
I do need a better setup now, and am trying to have Sylpheed notify a notification daemon (I use Dunst) using libnotify when it finds new emails.
I know I can insert a libnotify command in the "command box" under General Configuration | Receive.
But how to have the notification be really meaning full (to me, at least)?
This is what I need: notification of number of unread messages, From and Subject....
This is possible--other email clients do this quite well using libnotify (like Geary) but I want to stick to Sylpheed.
I can write a script and then execute the script from Sylpheed, as necessary.
But again, any pointers as to achieve the notification described above would be very appreciated.
