Dear Craig
Am using Freed-Ora19(Fedora-Libre-Kernel)and links on Sylpheed
do open my Web/Browser in fact they show up in green colour;
i did encounter similar issues on older Sylpheed version.
maybe do a yum-remove and yum(re-)install ?
 I cannot though send-a web page link directly from my Browser
ie=it will open Sylpheed but not automatcally paste it ,it
has to be done manually.

Best regards
tristan
