[sylpheed:35509] Problem displaying accents

I use Sylpheed 3.1.4 on Fedora LXDE 15, en_US. Display font in
Sylpheed: Inconsolata.

I receive emails in French language with accents (from France,
Belgium, Switzerland). The accents display correctly in the email
reader; not when I save the message as .eml, or display the message
source.

Changing the Preferenes > Default character encoding > Automatic, to
anything else does not help.

Can I do something about it, on my end?
