thanks for your reply, but it seems my first mail was not detailed enough.

The portability issue is that sylfilter stores its database in the currently logged-in user's AppData folder..
When calling "sylfilter-cui.exe -h" the following line states the db location:

Database will be created at C:\Users\***\AppData\Roaming\SylFilter/*.db

Thus, the db(-location) seems to be not portable and the doc says nothing about an appropriate command line
switch.
