[sylpheed:34663] Short tags in displaying xhtml-only mails

Hallo,

the sylpheed html renderer does not recognize xhtml short tags, like
<br /> which is used by some uptodate webmail software.

The mail mailtext is then smashed together.

Would it be easy to make the sylpheed html renderer recognize
especially this short tag?

grepping '<br' over source code shows me nothing, so I don't not know
where to look at.
