one could imagine that this would rather not be implemented for Sylpheed
(not meant negatively), but who knows, and it doesn't hurt to ask ;):

So, could you please integrate some appropriate Windows 7 Taskbar
Extensions:

into Sylpheed?

For Sylpheed, "Icon Overlays":
