If the thing I am referring is the same as the one you asked, yes.

I mean -- let's say I have an Inbox with a subfolder Sylpheed. If the
inbox is selected (the inbox itself, not the „+” near it), then presing
left will collapse all the inbox's subfolders, while pressing right will
expand all the inbox's subfolders.

Did you mean other thing ?
