this does not work when deleting a file, though. yes, that's technically different to redirecting local drafts to local place. but it is very useful. i use this local installation of sylpheed as the 'archive' to the IMAP account. when i delete something there, i would like to have it moved to the local trash automatically. btw., i never empty the trash folder, it is part of the archive.
