I just checked and it works on both my Linux and Windows boxes. Right
up there where it says "From: Bryan Kirk <Z*****@burntmail.com>"
I can right click on Z*****@burntmail.com and get several selections
including "Compose new message", "Add to address book..." and "Compose
new message". This doesn't work in the compose window.

As far as being automatic, do you really want to add all the email
addresses from porn sites, viagra sellers and other dubious sources to
your address book?
