'svn trunk' refers to the source code repository that Hiroyuki-san stores
the changes to sylpheed in. Periodically, Hiroyuki-san will make a release
and tar up the contents and make this available as a release. Additionally,
he releases a binary build of the snapshot.

If you choose to, you could checkout the contents of the 'svn trunk' instead
of waiting for the snapshot. It also requires the ability to build the
tree. Since this is under active development, the checkout may have certain
features which are in-progess which may or may not work.
