Hello,

Sylpheed 3.0beta1 will be released at the next week.

Reason of the version number 3.0 is, there is a major internal
architecture change (multi-threading etc.).

Since it is a major change, critical bugs such as crash or deadlock may
still exist.

Changes:

    * Win32: network connection will not block the UI anymore.
    * Executing external commands (such as bsfilter) on filtering will
      not block the UI anymore.
    * The major part of IMAP protocol communication runs on another
      thread to prevent blocking of the UI.
    * The query search is executed on another thread.
    * Summary caches are updated on the fly. This improves opening
     speed of folders with many new messages.
    * Progress is displayed when scanning folders.
    * Some bugfixes are made.
