I switched from Thunderbird to Sylpheed over the last few days.  I love it mostly.

I compiled 3.0.0beta1 and am using that now.  It's much better.  

I would possibly like to contribute some code.  What is the process on this project?  Diffs?  To whom?  Taken from what?  3.0.0beta1 or from a tag in SVN?

Some things I am interested in:

- the email send dialog positioning into a corner and not having focus - more of a background task rather than owning the application.
- feature to scan folders and automatically build address book from received emails

It's possible that some of this is already done and I don't know about it (though the send dialog code I have looked at so I don't think so).

However, the program is very nice.  I like it a lot.  Thanks for the huge effort to make such a fantastic program.
