[sylpheed:32141] Detach attachments automatically?

Hello,

I'm desperately looking for a way to tell Sylpheed to automatically
detach attachments (HTML crap, binaries etc.) on all incoming messages
in order to prevent the message folders from getting ridiculously
overbloated.

Is there a way to do this in Sylpheed, e.g. with a filter? If so, how?

BTW: The manual seems to be entirely outdated and totally incomplete...
