Apparently it sees them but they're not making it into the tree:

Note that TMP.STMP was created through Sylpheed but after a rebuild
it's gone ....

Maybe this is some kind of GTK tree menu problem? I said 2.4.0 works
but I should qualify that by saying 2.4.0 works on CentOS 5.0 w/
libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0.1000.4. The above errant log is from 2.5.0rc2 on
Fedora 9 w/ libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0.1200.10.
