Hi,

 Can I fall on my sword and confess to being a total idiot!! When I looked
at the error message:

'NNTP< 441 From: address not in Internet syntax'

 I realised the error. For the purpose of posting to newsgroups I use a
munged address: 'nospam at invalid'. When I changed this to 'nospam at invalid.com'
the message was successfully sent.

 My apologies for wasting everybodies time!
