[sylpheed:31052] registering sylpheed as the default mailto handler for vista

Running 2.3.1 on Windows Vista

I've "merged" the reg file that came with sylpheed, but still
microsloth winblows mail is the only option that appears in 

     control panel>>default programs>>set associations.

Any hints (other than revert to XP :-)?
