Sure. But, in order for this to work right, address book would need to
allow moving records from one folder to another (ideally through
drag-and-drop). Otherwise it would be a pain to organize the
automatically added addresses in which I am really interested among my
own folders, and then it would just soon turn into a huge messy pile
of addresses...
