[sylpheed:31168] Filtering Problem redux

In October I wrote about a filtering quirk (30232, 30237-39) in the
Win32 version. Certain emails, at least ones that start with "Re:" or
"Re," are being misdirected to my Trash folder, as if they were
matching one of the filters I have for spam. There's no obvious filter
that could be causing it (there is one for Subject="Refinance," but
eliminating it doesn't solve the problem). Perhaps coincidentally,
there has been an increase to 3-5/day this week since installing the
last two beta/RC versions.  It does not seem to be all Subjects with
"Re," but specifically ones from legitimate companies, such as
Microsoft Support and other customer support, as well from as a few
other companies. And it doesn't happen with all companies, but every
time with certain of them (also see note with first example below). 

Question: Could there be something in the way some company servers
mark outgoing mail that is tricking Sylpheed?  I replied to myself with
a misfiltered email to see if I could replicate it from here, but it
filtered correctly. Here are two problem examples:
