As I am on a primitive 3rd world dialup I have had to set my server
settings so that any file over 1.2 megabytes is ignored (and when I can
get on a fast connection I then download it).

But I have noticed there is no notification in the mailbox or during
the download. For eg: in eudora and thunderbird it will tell you a
message of X size has been left on the server.

The problem is when I download mail I am usually multi tasking. Unless
I happen to notice that the amount of messages and then note the
difference in downloaded messages I never know that a message has been
left on the server. I have actually gone days before I have suddenly
cottoned on that I am only downloading X of Y messages!

It is not a big deal and probably not relevant to many folks but if
anyone has time to burn and wants to add a useful feature this would be
a good one. :)

Of course, maybe it is a feature and I have not noticed how to set it
up. I have seen the issue in 2.2.4-2.2.7 for windows.
