Ok, now I copied the root-certificate (ca-cert) as well as the
signed certificates that were used by Courier-IMAP-ssl and Postfix to
c:\programme\sylpheed\etc\ssl\certs but Sylpheed still cannot verify
those certificates, giving the reason: unable to get local issuer
certificate.

Do I have to convert the certificate file to another format?
Actually those files look similar to this:
