[pgpool-general: 7123] ERROR: connection to socket

I'm getting this error message. Can you please help on this issue?

postgres at pgp1:~$ pcp_node_count

ERROR: connection to socket "/tmp/.s.PGSQL.9898" failed with error "No such
file or directory"

postgres at pgp1:~$ pcp_proc_info -a
