[pgpool-general: 5361] Jive and PgPool

Is anyone using the Jive software package from jivesoftware.com with PgPool?   I’m having a lot of issues with the application startup hangling while using PgPool.  No issues when PgPool is not in the mix.  Debug messages are not helpful.  Upgraded to PgPool 3.6.1.  Package uses JDBC postgresql-9.3-1102-jdbc41.jar.  I’m trying to get my sysadmin to upgrade to the latest JDBC driver.
