[pgpool-general: 4669] sr_check_period = 1

Simple question.  What would the impact be of changing our sr_check_period to be 1 second instead of 10 seconds?  We have an application on our installation that is failing due to it SELECTing an updated row on the standby before it is replicated there.  Currently we have this set at 10 seconds and I'm thinking it would be desirable to have it every second.. if it's feasible.
