Hi,

Could you the fowwling command to start pgpool?

  $ pgpool -n -d > /var/log/pgpool/pgpool.log 2>&1 &

The -d option enables debug messages to be generated.
The log messages can be written to log file /var/log/pgpool/pgpool.log.

Hi,

We're running postgresql-pgpool-II-3.4.6-1.el7.x86_64 and trying to
get logs to only go to syslog facility local0. We have the following
in pgpool.conf:

log_destination = 'syslog'
log_per_node_statement = on
syslog_facility = 'local0'
syslog_ident = 'pgpool'

Logs go to the correct place in syslog as expected, but queries are
also output to either stdout or stderr. Is it possible to stop this
output on stdout/stderr?

Thanks,
Dan.

Hello.

I've found a strange inconsistency between result of the query "show
pool_nodes" and result of execution of pcp_node_info.

While both show degraded backends with status "3", for normally working
nodes "show pool_nodes" displays status "2", and pcp_node_info for the
same node number shows "1". It begs the question: which one is actually
correct?
