[pgpool-general: 4380] Is pgpool 2.x EOL?

Hello,

i am sorry but i can't find any information about the support of the 
different versions of pgpool.

Judging from the news, i would asume that 3.x and newer is still 
supported. Is this right? Is there an overview about the support like in 
other projects?

Background of my question: i am maintainer of one of the pgpool ports in 
FreeBSD. I want to adopt the other ports too, but of course just if 
there is still support for them. ;)
