[pgpool-general: 3833] Online recovery with Psql 9.4: XLOG function cannot be found

I've just made an online recovery with Posql 9.4 and found in Psql log:
ERROR: "cannot find xlog functions"

I found it was a pgpool's issue already fixed a few months ago:

The diff is just in "pgpool-recovery.c".

I'm using Pgpool 3.3.6, do I have to re-compile pgpool as a whole to apply
the patch correctly? Or is it OK to "make" the pgpool-recovery function
only?
