[pgpool-general: 3985] How to restrict access to db when users connect via virtual ip

Hi,

When I connect directly to the database server, access is govern by the Postgres pg_hba.conf file.

However, when I log in via the virtual IP address for pgpool, it seems to allow anyone to access the database, even if Postgres' pg_hba.conf doesn't allow them to.

Is there something similar for pgpool that I can update to restrict access to the database via the virtual ip?
